Preventing distracted driving accidents is so much more than handing a driver a hands-free head-set. Any activity that takes a driver’s eyes off the forward roadway or thoughts that draw a driver’s mind off his or her driving duties, can lead to a distracted driving incident. In this session, the presenters review key in-cab distractions and discuss controls an organization should have in place. They also preview new technologies available to monitor and reduce distracted driving.

Learning Objectives:
Recognize the key distractors leading to accidents in commercial trucks
