Managed care organizations (MCO) provide many services for employers and injured workers. From an employer perspective, the presenter discusses injury reporting, lag time, supervisor training, education and outreach, cost containment and how to best use MCO services when an injury occurs. From an injured worker perspective, the presenter discusses case management, treatment plans, medical terminology and an overview of the claim process.
