Government entities serve a diverse population of citizens and need to provide the same level of service to all citizens regardless of race, ethnicity, income, education level, language ability or physical disability. While most public sector entities focus on compliance, it is also critical that they establish diversity & inclusion (D&I) efforts to ensure they are providing culturally competent services to citizens and creating a work environment in which their employees can do their best work. This session provides attendees with strategies for establishing a D&I program in the public sector.
