Description:

The presenter educates individuals responsible for securing loads on over-the-road transportation vehicles. He reviews the cargo securement standards based on the North American Cargo Securement Standard Model Regulations. The new regulations require motor carriers to change the way they use cargo securement devices to prevent articles from shifting on or within or falling. The presenter also discusses the types of securement devices and common mistakes made when securing loads.
