It's common knowledge that distracted driving is a serious issue. New laws and public awareness campaigns have proven ineffective in solving the problem. This presentation takes a closer look at distracted driving by identifying the human factors that are at the heart of the issue. By focusing on the causes of distraction we begin to treat the problem and prevent future accidents and injuries on the road.

Learning Objectives:
Identify human error's role in distracted driving incidents
Recognize why cell phone laws, policies, and procedures (while necessary) are ineffective
Define how on and off the job driving issues can affect your business
