Description:
Case management is an integral part of an overall strategy. A workplace injury and the complexity of the system can create apprehension for injured employees. Instead of questioning claims, advocacy focuses on making sure injured employees get assistance needed to recover and restore their health. This may entail awareness of pre-existing health conditions, recognizing psychosocial issues or clarifying overall claim expectations.
