Description:

This session introduces attendees to basic regulatory obligations under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA). If a facility stores extremely hazardous substances in any amount, or other chemicals in quantities greater than 10,000 pounds at any one time, it is subject to EPCRA. The presenter reviews the basics of annual EPCRA reports (Tier II and Toxics Release Inventory) in addition to addressing applicability, deadlines and reporting mechanisms.
