Description:
This session outlines important aspects of the injured worker who has sustained a mild traumatic brain injury and/or post-concussion syndrome and his or her readiness for vocational rehabilitation. The presenters discuss how to identify medical providers, engage providers in the vocational process, and identify the barriers to employment and vocational goals. They also discuss the vocational services necessary for successful return to work while presenting three case studies.

Identify injured workers' level of emotional and cognitive readiness for the vocational rehabilitation process
Identify potential barriers of emotional, cognitive and physical functioning
