Description:

Training employees to read and understand global harmonization system (GHS) compliant safety data sheets (SDS) for the chemicals they use is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirement. This presentation provides instruction on reading a GHS SDS; training employees to follow the proper safe handling, use, storage and disposal of the chemical; understanding the risks of exposure; following precautions; and responding in case of an emergency or accident involving the chemical.
