Description:
The presenters describe the types of falls such as unexplained, idiopathic and explained falls and their compensability. The presenters also cover on-site versus off-site falls and falls during breaks or after hours. They discuss strategies to minimize falls and defend against non-compensable falls. This session is most beneficial to safety and workers’ compensation professionals who oversee accident investigation and policy implementation.
