This session covers identification of heat-stress symptoms, how to evaluate for risks of heat stress, how to reduce those risks and how to create a heat-safety plan for various agricultural businesses such as farms, elevators, animal production, landscape and produce markets. Learning Objectives: Identify conditions, symptoms and treatment of heat stress including heat exhaustion and heat stroke Describe how to evaluate and monitor your workplace for workers' risk for heat stress Discuss how to reduce the risk of heat stress in your work place Summarize how to develop a plan for how your organization will manage heat safety
