Description:
When we talk about wellness, we typically talk about exercise, nutrition and mindfulness. Often, we leave out the importance of good sleep habits to our overall health. The presenter discusses the effects of inadequate sleep on our health. She also addresses the risks and dangers associated with not establishing a healthy sleep habit. She provides suggestions and recommendations for making sleep a priority.

Discuss the importance of sleep for the health of our body and mind
Recognize the risks associated with inadequate amounts of sleep, especially over long periods of time
Distinguish specific concerns for individuals working rotating shifts with erratic schedules
