This session explores a variety of legal topics to help keep you safe and compliant from the unique viewpoint of a general counsel and director of safety. Through humor and experienced insight, the speaker addresses the need to balance compliance, operations, customer requirements and business interests. The session covers the challenges of being a contractor on a customer site, how to deal with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), how, when and why to contest citations, and how to engage outside parties.
