This discussion shares simple lifting assessments and focuses on using the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Lifting Equation for more in-depth analysis of lifts. The presenter shares techniques that simplify the use of this method and make it easier to use. He also reviews how to evaluate lifting tasks that aren't normally addressed by the NIOSH Lifting Equation.
