Description:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a new standard for confined space in construction in August 2015. This session is a review of the new standard. The presenter provides examples of confined space in construction and discusses the differences between the general industry and construction industry standards for confined space.



Learning Objectives:
1. Recognize confined spaces on the worksite; 2. Describe the requirements for permit confined spaces; and 3. Distinguish between the different roles workers and employers may have when dealing with permit confined spaces at multi-employer worksites.
