Description:

The presenter provides an informative session outlining how employers can benefit from implementing a return-to-work program in their workplace. She explains the roles and responsibilities to develop and how to communicate the program benefits to all employees. In addition, she discusses how to use job analyses to define the physical components of every job. The presenter also reviews the use of light duty or modified duty offsite to transition injured employees back to their regular duty in a more efficient manner.

1. Identify the benefits of early return to work for both the employer and the employee; 2. Explain the implementation process for a return-to-work program; and 3. Recognize return-to-work opportunities within your workplace.
