Description:

The risk of workplace violence confronts all businesses. Workplace violence is a complex safety issue. Whether it is a disgruntled employee, domestic violence or a dissatisfied customer, businesses must address violence as a recognized hazard. The presenter uses a comprehensive model to outline strategies on how to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from incidents of workplace violence. When we use a comprehensive model we have the structure that enables us to recognize violence at itsearliest stage and manage it before it gets out of control.
