Description:

This session assists employers in creating effective written safety policies to comply with the 2015 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation updates. The presenters also guide employers in establishing successful safety teams, and developing programs and procedures. They also cover investigating the causes and effects of incidents in an effort to circumvent future injuries. They designed this session for safety and workers’ compensation professionals who oversee accident investigation and policy implementation.

1. Explain how to develop safety policies in compliance with updated OSHA regulations; 2. Identify ways to create successful safety teams; and 3. Describe how to perform constructive investigation of workplace incidents to avoid future occurrence.
