Security is a direct reflection of basic knowledge, safety, handling, operator observation and storage techniques. This session covers the basic concept of CFATS, the chemicals regulated by 6 CFR 27 Appendix A, and key security practices to enhance safety. Learning Objectives: 1. Describe the basic concept of the chemical facility's anti-terrorism standards regulation; 2. Recognize chemicals of interest regulated by the federal government - 6 CFR 27 Appendix A; and 3. Identify key security practices that will enhance operator safety.
