Description:

In our age of diverse workplaces, it is critical to learn how to reach across the generation gap and be equipped with practical ways to deal with these differences. Differences in values and views, ways of working, communicating and thinking may challenge organizational best interests. The presenter examines millennials in the workplace by addressing these differences and the dynamics they may create in the workplace. She also discusses successful practices for creating a productive work environment.

1. Define millennials (born 1980 to 2000) as a generation with their own core values, seminal events and cultural memorabilia; 2. Describe millennials' workforce assets and challenges in the workplace; and 3.Identify supportive behaviors and tips for communicating with millennials in the workforce.
