The presenter designed this session for employers, injured worker counsel, managed care organizations (MCO) and health care providers. It focuses on forms and services in the health partnership program designed to address injured workers' lost time issues, ensure timely indemnity payments and facilitate the injured worker's progress through the treatment plan. Learning Objectives: 1. Recognize the interplay of forms and processes (e.g., forms Physician’s Report of Work Ability (MEDCO-14), Request for Temporary Total Compensation (C-84), Physician's Request for Medical Service or Recommendation for Additional Conditions for Industrial Injury or Occupational Disease (C-9), etc.) to identify return to work opportunities; 2. Explain the role of the MCO in obtaining required return to work data; and 3. Describe relevant Ohio rules, statutes and data elements required to facilitate prompt return to work and benefit payments.
