Description:

Reimbursement trends focus on tying provider payments to quality and value. Since 2012, BWC has included many quality and value concepts in its reimbursement methodologies by evaluating and adopting applicable Medicare initiatives. The presenter provides a national update on current and future reimbursement trends as they relate to obtaining higher levels of quality and value from providers. The presenter also covers Ohio-specific data and trends. Ultimately, these initiatives aim to transform the payer from being a passive purchaser to an active purchaser.
