Since 2012, BWC has included many quality and value concepts in its reimbursement methodologies by evaluating and adopting applicable Medicare initiatives. The presenter provides a national update on current and future reimbursement trends as they relate to obtaining higher levels of quality and value from providers. The presenter also covers Ohio-specific data and trends. Ultimately, these initiatives aim to transform the payer from being a passive purchaser to an active purchaser. Learning Objectives: 1.
