This session covers all aspects of psychological conditions as they relate to the Ohio workers' compensation system, from initial diagnosis to compensability under Ohio law. Attendees gain an understanding of the prevalence of these conditions and learn how to navigate the Ohio workers' compensation system when a psychological condition is at issue.

1. Explain how psychological conditions are diagnosed; 2. Identify when psychological conditions are compensable under Ohio law; 3. Describe how to file for a psychological condition and recognize special situations with medical treatment and compensation; and 4. Recall how BWC initiatives address psychological conditions.
