Description:

Early diagnosis of a concussion is important. There are cognitive affects and behavioral changes to the brain after sustaining a concussive injury. The session focuses on cumulative effects of concussion and subsequent recovery.



Learning Objectives:
1. Explain how to diagnose a concussion; 2. Identify concussion symptomatology; 3. Describe the natural history of recovery from a concussion; and 4. Define what neuropsychology can and cannot tell us about concussions.
