Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) has become a major component of mainstream medicine in the past decade. Providers frequently use CAM treatments in conjunction with standard medical treatments. The presenter provides in-depth knowledge and evaluation of CAM that may be useful in the practice of allopathic medicine.



Learning Objectives:
1. Understand complementary and alternative approaches toward patient care such as chiropractic care, massage therapy, soft tissue treatments, Eastern medicine options and herbal supplements; and 2. Describe how to evaluate and manage patients who may benefit from these complementary and alternative options.
