He demonstrates what to do if you are involved in a vehicle accident with down power lines, generator back feed, ladder awareness and dangers when items touch power lines. He also covers the dangers of underground power lines and the importance of using Call Before You Dig (811). This session repeats at 11 a.m. Thursday. Learning Objectives: 1. Describe electrical safety around overhead and underground power lines; 2. Explain what to do at the scene of an accident involving down power lines; and 3. Discuss how items touching a power line conduct electricity.
