Law enforcement officers from Operation Street Smart provide an interactive workshop covering current drug trends, concealment techniques and drug paraphernalia. This presentation covers the history of drug use, current drug trends and how to recognize common drugs. The presenters also describe the signs and symptoms of drug use. See what the actual drugs look like and learn to recognize drug terminology, paraphernalia, and the common and uncommon places to hide drugs? The presenters discuss current and trending laws regarding marijuana and effects of alcohol and marijuana usage in the workplace and at home.

1. Explain the history of drugs, current drug trends and recognize the signs of drug use; 2. Recognize what the actual drugs look like, and common drug terminology; 3. Identify logos and common items used to conceal drugs and drug paraphernalia; and 4. Explain current trends in alcohol and marijuana usage and how alcohol and marijuana affects employees in the workplace and at home.
