Description:

The presenter shows electrical safety near overhead and underground power lines during this live demonstration in the Expo Marketplace. He demonstrates what to do if you are involved in a vehicle accident with down power lines, generator back feed, ladder awareness and dangers when items touch power lines. He also covers the dangers of underground power lines and the importance of using Call Before You Dig (811). This is a repeat of session #811 at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.

1. Describe electrical safety around overhead and underground power lines; 2. Explain what to do at the scene of an accident involving down power lines; and 3. Discuss how items touching a power line conduct electricity.
