Description:

Do you know which pro-active leading indicators are part of behavior-based safety? The session covers how trends can identify concerns before they undercut your process, how to get your process back on track, and what to expect realistically from your process. The presenter also explores other leading indicators that only the most mature safety processes measure, and how you can use these processes to predict future cultural growth.

Learning Objectives:
1. Recognize trends to identify when your process is off track; 2. Distinguish the difference between behavior and barriers (fix-its); 3. Recall how to use leading indicators to identify what areas of your process are strong and which are concerns; and 4. Explain which leading indicators are important to your overall safety process and what you should be measuring.
