The session provides first responders with basic information about human trafficking, how traffickers entrap victims, the methods offenders use to target and keep victims entrapped and resources available for victims and emergency medical services agencies. Learning Objectives: 1. Recall the definition of human trafficking; 2. Describe the reasons why and how victims become entrapped in human trafficking; 3. Explain the red flags present when identifying a possible victim; and 4. Recall the resources available for victims and EMS agencies.
