These ignitable liquids are used everywhere from painting, to cleaning, to manufacturing processes. The question is, do you know how to reduce the risk of burns, fire and explosions? In this session, learn what fire codes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards apply to the use, application and storage of flammable and combustible liquids. Learning Objectives: 1. Define flammable liquids and combustible liquids; 2. Identify specific hazards of flammable and combustible liquids; 3. Describe methods to reduce fire risk from flammable and combustible liquids; and 4. Recognize OSHA regulations and State fire codes that apply to the use of flammable and combustible liquids.
