Commonly called scissor and boom lifts, employers use aerial work platforms (AWPs) extensively in construction and general industry. Few companies offer their employees formal training on how to use AWPs properly. Because of this lack of training, highly experienced people using the equipment improperly often suffer accidents. Learn about the big four killers on AWPs and what training is required.
