The presenters also provide information on common characteristics of injuries such as nature, source and causation. The presentation includes recommendations on safety interventions and other prevention methods available to reduce the incidence of these injuries. Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss information on occupational injuries and illnesses statistics in the Ohio health-care industry; 2. List common case characteristics of injuries and illnesses in the Ohio health-care industry; and 3. Identify safety interventions available to reduce the incidence of these injuries.
