Description:

The presenters provide information on occupational injuries and illnesses statistics in the Ohio health-care industry from 2012 to 2014 using data from the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses and other sources. The presenters also provide information on common characteristics of injuries such as nature, source and causation. The presentation includes recommendations on safety interventions and other prevention methods available to reduce the incidence of these injuries.
