This in turn, impacts the employer. The combination of rising rate of obesity and rising cost of health care, employers must take the lead by offering opportunities for physical activity in the workplace. This presentation is part one of a three-part session. Learning Objectives: 1. Describe best practices for implementing physical activity programs; 2. Distinguish the different needs of a sedentary population versus a lifting, bending, twisting population; and 3. Identify opportunities for additional resources and ideas.
