Description:
This lecture educates those responsible for securing loads on over-the-road transportation vehicles. The presenter reviews the cargo securement standards based on North American Cargo Securement Standard Model Regulations, which require motor carriers to change the way they use cargo securement to prevent shifting or falling. The discussion also includes types of securement devices and common mistakes made when securing loads.
