Description:
The speaker presents a history and definition of energy drinks and provides information about how they affect the body’s cardiovascular and neurological systems. Side effects of consuming energy drinks are discussed both good and bad. The concerns of consuming energy drinks in working environments are covered, such as employees with pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac disease). Leave with a better understanding of the hazards of over-consuming energy drinks, potential side effects of energy drinks on individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, and how energy drinks can provide both positive and negative effects on our workers.
