Today, 33.8% of adults in Ohio are considered obese, the 11th-highest rate among states. Research shows that the growing prevalence of obesity in the workforce has resulted in an increase in the incidence and cost of musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace. During this session, participants learn the impact of obesity on task demands and physical capabilities, as well as methods to accommodate the changing workforce population. Learning Objectives: 1.
