Description:
This workshop describes the approaches of needs analysis, task analysis, and performance objectives to design training. The presenters address lesson plans, delivery and assessment techniques, and the validation and documentation of training programs. They also describe instructional strategies as well as media and delivery techniques appropriate to the adult learner.

Learning Objectives:
1. Describe how to promote learner participation and involvement in training sessions.
2. Explain how to evaluate personal strengths of instructors and how to identify areas to work on.
3. Define effective audience feedback.
4. Recognize measurements of success to assess effective learning.
5. Differentiate between training and presenting information.
6. Summarize participant-centered learning and the use of effective questioning techniques during a training session.
