Description:
Workplace harassment is a form of bullying. This session presents methods to eliminate it and create a psychologically safe workplace. The presenters share best practices for building a workplace that avoids harassment and encourages bystander intervention. They also advise on what to do when an incident is reported, and show methods for creating a positive work culture. Human resource staff, managers, and supervisors can all use these strategies to train employees to create a workplace that values respect and is free of all bullying.

1. Define the forms of harassment and implement best practices for avoidance and reporting.
2. Identify, correct, and/or prevent potential harassment in workplaces.
3. Describe why it is important and how all employees can participate in eliminating all forms of harassment and creating a psychologically safe workplace.
