Though clever designs are part of Prevention through Design - they are not a required part - and not even the main part. In this workshop, learn the priority and process of PtD, see many examples, and practice how to actually "DO" PtD. Finally, many specific tips are provided to help you make an action plan for changing the culture of your organization to a culture of prevention. Learning Objectives: 1. Define both the priority and the process of Prevention through Design (PtD). 2. Explain the PtD process of collaborative design review. 3. Describe simple risk assessments on alternative solutions. 4. List simple financial and non-financial aspects of a business case. 5. Describe no-cost tools, tips, guidance, and examples to help you DO PtD. 6. Identify ways to help your business have a culture of prevention.
