Most survey instruments have no statistical reliability or validity; but they sound good. This session describes how to create your own valid cultural(climate) survey, and which specific areas of cultural interest should be investigated. Techniques on developing questions and methods for conducting and then following up on the survey results will help you become an internal cultural expert. Learning Objectives: 1. Describe the difference between corporate climate and culture. 2. Define techniques for assessing organizational safety culture. 3. Explain methods for developing your own perception survey. 4. Recognize and implement other leading indicators as cultural proxies.
