Obstructive sleep apnea affects 15 to 30% of males and 10 to 15% of females. It has wide-ranging effects on sleep, safety, daytime functioning, and health. The presenter describes obstructive sleep apnea, its signs and symptoms, its effects on our lives, and how we diagnose and treat the condition.
