Description:
This session covers preparation for rural area emergencies as it pertains to training, equipment, and financial resources. Topics include ways to treat grain bin accidents and different injuries that a first responder may encounter, frequent hunting accidents, and ways to best help your patients in those emergencies, and ways a first responder can improve safety while responding to these rural emergencies.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify life-threatening grain bin emergencies.
2. Explain how to treat crush emergencies and keeping the first responders safety in mind.
3. List hunting dangers and common injuries.
4. Recall the potential dangers to first reponders when responding to a hunting accident.
