Description:
This industrial ventilation workshop focuses on efficient design (reduction of power consumption), local versus general exhaust, pressure and flow in the system, and the tools to obtain good design such as calculation methods and expectations from contractors and designers. Attendees should have a basic grasp of the components and operation of an industrial ventilation system, including familiarity with ductwork, fans and control devices such as scrubbers, baghouses, etc.

2. Identify the hidden costs attributed to bad or inefficient design.
