Belt splicing is done on every mine site, and every miner has done it at one time. Learning Objectives: 1. Properly identify the hazards associated with belt splicing. 2. Explain the importance of lockout/tagout and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping. 3. Select the proper lacing for the belt.
