Description:
This presentation not only provides an understanding of what an arc flash is, but why it's important and what can be done to protect workers from electrical hazards. The presentation is intended for not just electrical workers, but also for environmental health and safety personnel who are involved with managing and monitoring their safety program. The presenter also discusses the changes to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 1584 Guide for Performing Arc-Flash Hazard Calculations.
