Description:
Returning an injured worker to the job as soon and as safely possible, before they are 100% recovered, lowers employer's costs and improves their bottom line. This workshop teaches employers how to create their company’s own transitional work (TW) plan using Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) templates and forms. Employers are welcome to bring a copy of their TW plan as well. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get assistance from BWC professionals in creating or updating your TW plan.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify the importance of transitional work and BWC's Transitional Work Bonus.
2. Define return to work strategies and services.
3. Describe and actively update or create a new transitional work plan.
4. Recognize when to implement your own transitional work plan.
