The audience learns how non-pharmacological treatments and early intervention can be effective in the treatment of workplace injuries. As part of this, the audience learns about Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation's (BWC) new concussion rule 4123-6-34 which provides the opportunity for better outcomes through appropriate early intervention strategies. Learning Objectives: 1. Identify non-pharmacological approaches to treatment of workplace injuries. 2. Define types of non-pharmacological treatments for workplace injuries. 3. Recognize the opportunities for improved clinical outcomes created by BWC's concussion rule. 4. Describe the clinical manifestations of concussion and clinical domains.
