This session provides information on commercial kitchen hood suppression systems. Lean more about these systems and how to clean and maintain and them under the NFPA 17a and NFPA 96, the current standards for hood suppression systems and hood cleaning.

2. Explain the operation of a kitchen hood suppression system.
3. Recognize hood cleaning maintenance times and components needing cleaned.
4. Describe NFPA 17a and NPFA 96, the standards for hood suppression systems and standard for hood cleaning.
