Description:

Recognition is an important aspect of making a safe entry into a confined space. You should identify all confined spaces located within a facility or under the facility's control. Once you identify a space as being confined, you must then identify the hazards that may be present. This session covers the nature of the hazards involved, the necessary precautions to take, and the use of protective and emergency equipment required for confined entry or enclosed spaces.
